Tiny Tutorials (TT) was the first art class I bought. I found the content well organized, and the Table of Contents tab made navigating to the various categories (15 of them!) very easy. TT is much like a non-fiction book since it’s self-paced and doesn’t need to be read or used in a specific order.

The first category in TT is genius! It has snippets of encouraging content artists of any skill levels can relate to. The tutorials are graphically easy on the eye. Sandy shares informative tips, interesting factoids, and many techniques for working with various mediums such as graphite, pen and ink, watercolor, colored pencil and alcohol makers. She’s also included crafting/card making tutorials. To help piggyback some of the tutorials, Sandy’s shared some of her YouTube videos making it easy to see more examples of the skills you want to learn.

I cut my baby art teeth on Sandy’s drawing tutorials using TT two years ago. The step-by-step pictorial format gave me the visual details I found so helpful. I went from having absolutely zero art experience to feeling brave enough to tackle Drawing 101 and 30 Days to More Confident Sketching! I also devoured the watercolor tutorials in conjunction with Sandy’s Watercolor Jumpstart class. I keep going back to TT! As I gain more skills, my understanding of the tutorials has new meaning and I approach tutorials with a different mindset and perspective.

As you can tell, I am a big fan of Tiny Tutorials. I can truly say that TINY TUTORIALS ended up being the passport that transformed me and set me on a path of artistic endeavors.
