This course is a bit different than others here on this website…there aren’t targeted “projects” to be created!
Instead, these lessons include bite-sized inspiration and instruction. They come mostly in the form of “carousels” – tiny galleries of a group of photos to tap through. The idea came from sites like Instagram that allows multiple pictures to tell a story!
These have been popular on that site, and rather than having them get lost, never to be seen again, they’re gathered here.
For each one, tap through the arrows on the photos. or tap on the photo itself to make it really big on your laptop browser. Try it with this sample art advice!
Go through the “ARTVENTURE” section when you’re in a thoughtful mood. It’s a little “class” in and of itself; it’ll help you think through your life, your passions, and your hopes and dreams as an artist! Speeding through it will just fly past, and it’s worth giving it some time.
Don’t consume EVERYTHING at once. There are well beyond 100 of these gems in this class; the temptation is to just tap through all the topics quickly and be done. Find one that shows you how to do something – and then go do it. Taking an action step will make sure the idea lands with you! You can always come back another time and check out other ideas.
Look through all the sections., even if not interested in the medium. Some of the tutorials were a challenge to figure out which category they belong in, so you might find something you can use in a different way or medium. Also: you might see something that triggers a completely different idea!
Share your own projects and thoughts with the community! A growing place for artists to gather is Artventure on Mighty Networks. Start a discussion on a topic that piques your interest. Inspire others with your take on a tutorial.
NOTE: This course ALSO exists inside Artventure, as a way for members to support the platform. Your access here doesn’t gain you access there, however if you post something and mention it’s in the Tiny Tutorials class, everyone will know what you mean and can go find it there.
If you find these tiny tutorials to be helpful, make something with it and share it on social media – and let your friends know they too can come and be inspired!
Remember that supplies used in any video are linked on their YouTube page; simply tap on the YouTube logo in the bottom corner and it’ll take you to that page. That’s also a great place to ask a specific question regarding that video; I check YT daily for new comments and am happy to reply to any queries you have!
This is such a wide-ranging class that there is no list – you can create any tutorial in any medium you wish! If you ever want to know where to get something, please ask me over at Artventure or drop an email and I’ll be happy to help you out.
HOWEVER: this is my current “favorites” list.
