Typography for Bible Journalers class celebrates our own handwriting – helping us to clean it up a little and learn some design techniques for laying out text on our Bible journaling pages! Class is conducted within a simple grid notebook — and the class can be taken without turning text into Bible journaling pages. I don’t know many people who “like” their own handwriting and yet an important part of a Bible art entry is a few words of text. I took a “brush lettering” class and have brush pens and that is good in some situations (although my brush lettering is very “basic”). But this class takes designing and adding a few words of text to the next level. I use what I have learned (so far as I haven’t actually finished all the lessons yet) on almost every Bible art entry that I make. Sandy is a great instructor and provides lots of ideas and really helps you incorporate YOUR handwriting and how you want to illustrate a verse or passage into your artwork. This is a GREAT class and I highly recommend it.
