Have the new Ohuhu color code numbers got you down? Print this PDF with both the new and the old numbers on sticker paper, color them, punch them out, then add them to a hex chart, or to your markers! Instructions and tips are included in the 2 page PDF.
Tips:
These labels are dual purposed! Use them for labels on the ends of your Honolulu markers, or place them over an older hex chart to “update” it to show both old and new numbers (Honolulu or Combo hex charts). This saves having to recolor the whole thing!
- Print on sticker paper, then cut each out with either a 1/2” or a 3/8” circle punch.
- Color the stickers while on the sheet, THEN punch. Note that sticker paper will generally not be the same quality as coloring paper, so you could alternatively place adhesive on the back of your favorite coloring paper, then color and punch.
- A 3/8” circle will fit within the hexagons on a hex chart, and can be used for the ends of your markers too. The end of a Honolulu pen is 1/2” but a smaller label can look great as seen in the photo; the printed circles in this PDF are the 1/2” if you decide on the larger size for pens.
- Holding circles with tweezers are helpful in placing them straight on a chart.
- Colors are listed in alphabetical order by NEW code numbers.
