Mini Copic Holiday Interiors: Preclass
This class will be a fun adventure in creating indoor Christmas holiday themed drawings in Copic marker!
(There are no videos in this Preclass lesson.)
If you’ve taken the Copic Jumpstart class, you likely have most of the supplies needed. This class requires NO stamps – just blank paper and the willingness to draw your own elements! You can, of course, find a stamp in your craft collection that would go with the scene and color around that element. But it’s recommended to at least try it on blank paper first so you have an idea how you might wish to adapt it.
In this lesson are links to the supplies I am using in class videos. Compensated affiliate links are used, which means if you make a purchase I receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. I truly appreciate your support toward the costs of this class! Read more.
Paper
As with all classes on this site, use the Copic paper you are most comfortable with. Neenah Classic Crest Solar White is used, but choose what you like best.
White Gel Pen
It’s Christmastime. Always a good season to replenish your white pens! My favorite is Signo uniball but use what you like.
Markers
This list has all the colors used in this class, HOWEVER – you can substitute! Some are very close to each other and can be swapped out easily.
STRONG RECOMMENDATIONS:
- a bottle of Colorless blender will be needed, along with paper towels;
- a blue like B41 will work best with the window;
- RV95 was covered over in the fireplace with darker colors, but if you create a daytime fireplace, that’s a great color;
- have a light color for sketching; I used T2 and BG90 but you can choose a lighter color if desired.
