Loved this class. Five small projects that teach great techniques for using masking fluid in a way that looks truly like snow and for using pen and ink to add just the right amount of detail to the page to make it look great. Sandy’s instructions are clear and detailed making this accessible for everyone who wants to grow their skills in watercolor.

I absolutely loved this class! There are five lessons to complete, which is just right for me. I love a variety of art mediums, and going through a class quickly guarantees that I won’t get bored before I can finish!
Sandy provides a reference photo for each lesson that can be traced if artists are intimidated by the drawing component. It’s actually a great timesaver that allows the artist to get right into practice with watercolor paint and ink. Over the last year or two, this particular medium (or combination thereof) has become my favorite. I love getting to use both brush and pen to create an artwork. And the enhancements gained by the pen work are just incredible!
If you want to give this medium a try, you won’t find an easier entry point. Of course, Sandy offers several wash and ink classes that are just as accessible. I know, because I’ve taken almost ALL of them! I love it that much!

Another great class with fantastic designs to replicate and learn from. The techniques are well explained and guide the student from using watercolor as a base layer to adding pen work for the finishing touch. Sandy then shows how she added just a hint of glitter to turn each design into a lovely card. It’s a class I am sure to revisit.
