Description
In this intermediate Copic Marker class, 5 lessons will teach techniques for coloring “storybook” style scenes – simple shapes, bright and saturated color…with a wintry theme!
What does “intermediate” mean here? The class is taught with paper and pens – no stamps, no sketches, no net! That doesn’t mean it’s going to be terribly difficult, but it does mean that at least a basic facility with Copic markers is a must. Some experience with making marker strokes, blending, and flicking is needed; as well as the willingness to put a lot of color on the paper. Scenes are not for the timid who are hoarding ink in their pens. *smile*
This class is appropriate for artists working in any genre – cardmaking, fine art, etc. Lessons are taught on a half-sheet of paper – each is 8-1/2″ x 5.5″ and trimmed down to be a suitable image to use on a card.

Sonja Luce –
I loved it! The pictures are so much fun! I loved every minute and kind of binge-worked (is that a word?) because they go so quick! Gonna take some more classes!
Julie Finlayson –
I’ve taken several mini-classes from Sandy and this one is one of my favorites. I love the beautiful winter scenes. As always, I appreciate what a great instructor Sandy is; she breaks things down step by step. All of my scenes turned out great, and I’m excited to try them again with my own twist. Great class!
Sarah –
Creating scenes from scratch is a great way to get more use out of your stamped images, but it can be a bit daunting at times. The scenes in this class are simple enough that anyone should be able to make something suitably wintry by following along with Sandy’s very clear instructions. It’s a great confidence builder and introduction to making scenes. Highly recommended.
Sherry Woods –
If you want to get the most out of your stamps, learn how to create scenes. With the techniques and designs in this class, I was able to make a slew of very different holiday cards using just one stamp. Sandy is an excellent teacher, taking you step by step to create each scene. The shapes are very simple and very easy to draw. Being able to start and stop the video makes it very easy to follow along – no need to worry about keeping up! I enjoyed this class very much and highly recommend it.
