This class was so much fun! It was exactly what I needed to get over my fear of using colored pencils. Sandy’s template gives just enough of a skeleton sketch for each creature to help get you started. Sandy explains and demonstrates various colored pencil techniques in her usual clear and concise instructions, and her positive and perky personality makes it fun to follow along. It was a blast watching the adorable creatures come alive on MY paper.

I had so many a-ha moments during the course! I loved learning how to layer the various colors to create different effects, and it was amazing to see how complementary colors work to create such beautiful shading and shadows. I’m now eager to use my color pencils to draw a few of my own imaginary creatures using the blank template that Sandy’s included and to put some of these new skills to work!
