Photo inspirations were captured at the Washington State Fair in 2026, by your instructor along with a few pics by friends. Our drawings in class won't be exact renderings but definitely help as we look at what animals, foods, buildings, and rides look like in real life. We'll explore different ways to simplify from photos, to try them in different styles, and splash on some fun color too.
In this "drip" course, you'll return to your account each day and a new lesson will be revealed for you. Whatever day you begin, you can start on the Preclass lesson, then the next day is your "Day 1." That reveal will happen at the same time each day as the time you signed up; if you like sketching in the morning, then sign up in the morning. If you're an evening artist, later in the day is great to sign up. Lessons never time out, so if you get a day behind, just get back to it when you're able.
