I know, I know. Things keep changing, right? I moved my email lists from Mailchimp to Substack — and now another newsletter is starting here, what’s up with that?

Well, my name is Sandy, and I change things up based on community feedback. This is one attempt to do that; I heard back that some folks wanted ONLY news about what’s going on here with classes (like sales, new classes, etc), and especially that they couldn’t figure out when the Open Studio times would be each month because they didn’t want to join Artventure.

I have to say, the last one really got me. Here I was promoting that I have this wonderful opportunity to join me, ask questions, get feedback….and some folks just aren’t on board with *how* that gets delivered.

So this “blog” feed is a simple way I can make that happen. 

The existence of this feed doesn’t mean I will NOT be announcing classes, zoom calls, special events, and more on places like YouTube, Substack, etc. Not at all. This is just one more way, for those who only want news about things on this specific site, to get just that news.

 When’s the next Open Studio?

 Each month I host a free zoom call, and you’re most welcome to join in! This month, May, it’ll be Saturday May 23, at noon Pacific time. (Click here to find out the time in your zone.) Bring your own project to work on; usually we all just do our own thing, ask questions as folks have them, etc. Sometimes I demo, most of the time I’m working on something and just have my desk camera on so you can watch – and so I can also be ready to demo something if a question needs that.
